Flooring

Flooring, supplied
and installed.

Hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate and tile. See the long boards on the rack at our showroom, then our crews put it down.

Why the showroom matters

See the whole run, not a sample chip.

A floor is the one material you see in every room at once, so a small sample is the worst way to pick it. At the showroom the boards stand full length on the rack, so you can see how the grain runs and how often the color repeats.

Buying the floor and the install from the same place matters more here than anywhere. When a floor goes down over a bad subfloor it squeaks, gaps or cups, and the supplier and the installer each blame the other. With us there is nobody else to blame.

What happens before a board goes down

  1. 01

    Old floor out

We take up what is there and haul it away, so you are not left with a pile of old carpet in the yard.

  2. 02

    Subfloor checked

Squeaks fixed, low spots leveled and concrete tested for moisture. This is what decides how long the new floor lasts.

  3. 03

    One direction, room to room

We plan the layout so boards run the same way through the house, without a strip in every doorway.

  4. 04

    Trim and transitions

Baseboard, shoe molding and thresholds finished so the floor looks like it was always there.
